Swiss-Belhotel signs deal to manage luxury Bahrain hotel

Hospitality management chain Swiss-Belhotel International’s expansion has announced the signing of an agreement to manage a five-star hotel in Bahrain.
Owned by Sheikh Salman Bin Abdallah Hamad Al Khalifa, the five-star Swiss-Belhotel Bahrain is scheduled to open in 2016.
“This is our second hotel in Bahrain following Swiss-Belhotel Seef, and our 12th property in the Middle East”, said Gavin M Faull, Swiss-Belhotel International chairman and president.
“The market in the Middle East is dynamic and has been very receptive to our blend of professionalism and passion and we look forward to continuing our growth in the region.”
The 193-room property’s facilities include two banquet and conference rooms, two restaurants, a coffee shop, a bar, two nightclubs, a business centre, a swimming pool and health club.
The management agreement of the five-star hotel follows two recent additions to the group’s Middle East portfolio – Swiss-Belhotel Corniche and Swiss-Belresort Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi.
The group’s other properties in the region are Swiss Belhotel Plaza Kuwait and Swiss-Belhotel Doha, Qatar, soon be joined by Swiss-Belinn Ghurbrah, Oman, Swiss-Belhotel Riyadh, Swiss-Belboutique Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Swiss-Belhotel Stenden Doha, Qatar, Grand Swiss-Belhotel Batumi, Georgia and Swiss-Belhotel Erbil, Iraq.
The company has targeted managing 250 hotels and resorts around the world by 2022.
