Aiana group plans to open 7 new hotels in Indian, Middle east, South East Asia

Dubai: Gulf-based Aiana hotel group plans to open a chain of 7 hotels in India, the Middle East and South East Asia in the next five years.

“Under the Aiana brand the company plans to have seven hotels either operational or under development in the Middle East, India and South East Asia in the next five years, all under management contracts,” said Amruda Nair, Joint Managing Director & CEO, of hotel management company, Aiana Hotels & Resorts.

Amruda is the granddaughter of the late Captain C P Krishnan Nair, founder of The Leela Group.

Aiana has its headquarters based in the Qatar Financial Centre.

“In India we are looking primarily at leisure destinations and a few key gateway cities. Our growth will be determined by a cluster strategy that provides offers both hotel owners and our guests accessibility and consistency in service delivery,” she told PTI.

“Aiana is my dream project, brought to life through my partnership with H E Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani who shared my passion for extending legendary Indian hospitality to the world,” said Nair.

“This will definitely appeal the Indians in the Gulf regions. Our guests have travelled the world, are smart users of technology and seek immersive local experiences. We cater to their growing demand for value added offerings in the upper upscale hospitality segment,” she said.
